Our country has an education problem.

The price of a four-year degree continues to rise, while student debt burdens our young workforce. Starting wages rarely equal the price tag graduates paid for the degree. In many industries, including IT, there is a “negative job gap,” where there are more job openings than there are qualified applicants. And on top of all that, employers find graduates ill-equipped for “real world” work.

We have decided to partner with community colleges, vocational schools, and community-based organizations to do something about it.

As a result, we are rolling out a program through these organizations that help students bridge the gap between education and employment. This program is called ApprenticeIT. In the fields of IT and Marketing, Domain offers successful students paid apprenticeships with training on technical and soft skills – both being necessary to succeed in the workforce.
